Annoying Commute? Let Liam Neeson Show You the Way on Waze

Ever wish Liam Neeson would magically announced and have your back in trying situations? Your wish is about to come true. This vacation season, the honey actor can ride shotgun in your car as you brave crowded parking lots and busy highways, thanks to Waze.

The Google-owned traffic and navigation app on Tuesday announced that Neeson can now voice your commute. He lent his voice to the app's turn-by-turn directions as a way to promote his new moving picture The Commuter, which hits theaters Jan. 12.

"Imagine: you're in your car, java safely in the cup holder, playing a great song, and (actually) enjoying your routine morn commute. Then, out of nowhere, everything changes. The clouds suspension and a storm hits hard. The car in front of you slams their breaks for an unexpected accident-related jam," Waze wrote in a weblog post. "What do you practice next? You call on the i-and-only Liam Neeson—or at to the lowest degree his signature, reassuring voice—to show you lot the safe fashion out of hazards, jams and obstacles alee."

To become Neeson to guide your way, go to Settings, tap Vocalisation Directions, and select Liam Neeson. The actor "will exist available to ride shotgun through January. 14," Waze wrote.

Neeson isn't the merely famous actor who has lent their voice to Waze. Last year, Morgan Freeman voiced the app'southward navigation feature to promote his movie London Has Fallen. In the by, Waze has as well partnered with Arnold Schwarzenegger, comedians Stephen Colbert and Kevin Hart, and C3PO from the Star Wars universe.
